How to shake off the stress of the day

After along working stressful day with the kids all you want to get back to, is your home and sanctuary, lay down on your favorite couch with a cup of green tea and rid yourself off all the negative energy. To phaseout of the day’s hustle and bustle, you can manage to do that with these 6 simple steps:

  • Spot: find your favorite spot in the house, it can be next to the window or fireplace or maybe your bed.
  • Lighting: soft lighting is essential and it can add a cozy element to your spot.
  • Candles: fill the place with scented candles, which can help you unwind after a long exhausting day.
  • A good book: have your favorite book next to you, reading can be just the right thing to escape after a long day.
  • Music: if you are not fond of reading, instead, lesson to your favorite music, which can help elevate the stress.
  • Treat yourself: you can never go wrong with a small bite of chocolate, it will do no harm but can definitely bring a small amount of soothing, after a very long day.  You deserve it my dear!
